There are a range of improtant bodies and frameworks within the Tel'Ennyn Asur Tradition of Wicca including positions. Thsi page is dedicated to providing some information relating to them and their function.

 

Assembly of Glaur

The literal meaning of this name is "The Council of Golden Light". This is a body of most highly respected senior clerics and ministry within our Tradition. It can be likened to a Senate. Where policy, laws and decisions are debated and decided upon. It is a forum for the High Priesthood to discuss important issues and concerns of our tradition. Each member of the Caercilcarn have an equal opportunity to speak, itnroduce matters and vote. The Caercilcarn is a democratic body.

 

Heirophant/Arch High Priesthood

This is a term used to described most senior clerics and minsitry within our Tradition. The Archpriesthood is made up of all Third Degree initated clerics who have also been accepted into the vocation of Minsitry for our Tradition. They each hold a seat on the Caercilcarn.

 

Clergy/Ministry

This is a term that describes a member of our Tradition who has successfully completed all the degree levels (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) and has been initiated into them. As well as having completed the Ministry course which allows them to initiate others as well as perform Formal Rituals in the Name of the Tradition.

 

Priest/ess

This is a term used to described a student who has successfully completed all requirements nad has been initiated into the First, Second, Third, Fourth or Fifth Degree level.

 

Shadow Mentor

This is the term used to describe the personal guide and mentor for all new members of the Tradition. They will be appointed a Shadow Mentor who will assist them as they integrate intot he Tradition and if required undertake training courses.

 

Coerl

This is the term used to describe a non-initiated person who is new to the tradition. They may in fact be just a member without studying our degree system. Or they may be studying their first degree with us. In Traditional Wicca this is also called Dedicant. And at the moment of initiation (the actual ritual) they take on a temporary term called 'postulant' and after initiation into the first degree they are known as Priest/ess or Initiate.
